Monster roosterfish and Jacks Inshore is hot here at the Zancudo lodge in Southern Costa RIca.

The fleet is also catching 2-3 sailfish daily with a few dorado mixed in. Also check out the baby marlin we caught 36inch marlin last week. Roosterfish in Southern Costa Rica can get giant and are available year-round in these waters. Roosterfish average 10-15lbs but individuals in the 50+ range are usually taken once or twice a week during our peak season when lots of anglers are out.
