Fishing Report June 7, 2017

The roosterfish bite has been OFF THE CHART with most of the boats landing over 25 per day. The TUNA showed up as well and most are in the 40lb-80lb class. In all my years of tuna fishing, I have never experienced this incredible feeding frenzy and it carried on from the start to late in the day. At 4:30pm, there were massive amounts of 100lb+ tunas jumping 15ft clear out of the water while chasing bait. All in all, I broke 2 off the popper and then hooked one on a popper which was a monster over 100lb.
