Highlights include a cow (yellowfin tuna) tipping the scales at 262lbs
I love this time of the the year for fishing in the Southern Zone of Costa Rica. We have been opened for just two days and the fishing has been simply amazing. Guests have gone 6-10 on blue marlin. Coco rang the bell yesterday with three marlin and Captain Tito added to the total with three more today. The tuna bite is not for the faint of heart and the big boys are definitely here. Yesterday Tito scored with a nice 135lb tuna and today Javier with a COW weighing in at 262lbs landed by the boys from Contender Boats Inc. There are tons of dorado everywhere and it’s going to be a great season!
