We found a tuna FAD floating yesterday. Our captain put a Sat tracker on it. So today the crew are on the fish again. Big dorado and a big school of tuna from yesterday. Southern Costa Rica has a number of FADS available for fishing. Although sometimes the FADS are highly active, other times they are inactive – it is important to realize when you come down for your fishing trip, if they are active and our captains inform us the bite is good/or has the potential to be..we are happy to take clients out to fish them for a small extra fuel charge.
